Each figure is an oblique projection of a sperical harmonic with the hidden lines removed. The upper left harmonic is the so-called “Pear shaped” zonal. The lower left figure is a 4th degree tesseral and the rightmost figures is a 3rd degree sectorial. Produced with CalComp 564 plotter and a CDC 3600 computer. [Source: Computers and Automation '69]
