La Légende d’Eer

Most of the sound materials used in
La Légende d’Eer are very similar to the
ones used in Polytope de Cluny, although a
greater prominence is given to synthetic
sounds: analog and digital (stochastic).
Reverberation and filtering were applied
to some of the stochastic sounds
present in the section that starts at 32’58”,
in the first four channels.
In this piece, Xenakis started using a
new technique for stochastic synthesis
that he named Dynamic Stochastic Synthesis.(The Stochastic Synthesis
